What's so cool in Linux? Mac rules! I don't consider Linux "cool". It's a collection of patches over patches, but it does progress fast, making of the most viable free unix-based desktop-system.
I'm personally more favorable to BSD, and there are lots of references to it in the comics. And in case you were wondering what's so good about BSD, let me remind you that Mac OSX is BSD-based.

Was this strip originally meant to be longer
(like the one about hard disks)? It's quite funny
as it is, but kind of short. No, this one's full length. It was based on an IRC conversation at #debian.fi.
You can find the original one here.

hey i started reading this comic like last week,
and i'm addicted it is very origanal and i have
an idea for you; if you remember saying "it feels
like work I'm not being paid for" then i have an
idea for you. I have seen this all over lately
(this idea is not origanal at all) and i thought
you might want to use it, or not. you can put up
a fund raiser thing and every time you raise like
(your desired number here)$ then you would make
an extra comic every time it reaches that amount,
hope Ihelpe Maybe you understood me a bit too literally. As most of the webcartoonists go to college or such, they're always low on cash. That, however, is not the case with me. I actually have two jobs, so the small amount of hard cash that this comic could generate, wouldn't change things.
There are two thigns that keep this comic running. First of all, I do this because I like expressing myself and the second, while everything seems to be collapsing on me, I can still draw some extra inspiration from the fact that someone actually reads this.

All I can say is if you don't like it, don't read
it. Noone is forcing you too.
